The frame of the Fuel EXe 9.9 XX1 AXS is constructed from Trek’s OCLV mountain carbon.

It features a removable battery, internal cable routing, aluminum bell crank, seat tube diameter of 34.9 mm, mount for an upper chain guide, 55 mm chain line, Mino Link, ABP, Boost148, UDH, and 140 mm travel.

The bike weighs 40.7 lbs and has an MSRP of $13,999. It has a RockShox Lyrik Ultimate fork and 29″ Carbon wheels.

The Fuel EXe 9.9 XX1 AXS has been compared to the Specialized S-Works Turbo Kenevo SL, which is similarly priced but leans more towards enduro riding and racing.

It has also been compared to the Specialized Levo SL and Orbea’s Rise, offering lighter-weight e-mountain bikes. However, the Fuel EXe is said to be one of the best examples of a lighter-weight eMTB out there.
